I have a huge problem going on with my acros. First of all let me tell you a little about my system. It’s a 50 gallon cube sps dominant/ mixed reef combo. I know that’s a huge a red flag but hopefully there’s another culprit for my problem. My second possible issue is that I only use LED Hydra 52 hds with more red and green than recommended. I know T5 supplement is the gold standard but that just won’t look right and my wife would never agree to huge bulky fixture. Now I don’t have an apex and have no idea what my pH is or ORP, so maybe I should look into that. I also don’t ever carbon dose or use gfo and only skim for 12 hours with a crappy undersized skimmer, so maybe that’s why I have a little green hair algae but that’s not the problem. Here are some pics of my latest tests.

Do y’all see the issue?
They seem too colorful, they’re growing too fast and the polyps seem to be sticking out too far. Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue? I’m really freaking out.

Haha. I love this thread! Great pics!

Come on guys
Y’all aren’t helping
Should I buy an over sized skimmer or, or, or, add 2 gfo reactors and a co2 scrubber and, and, and maybe a denitrator? How do I kill these?

I've read up on bleach dosing and think you should give it a go.
Hope this helps

Yes yes yes
I really appreciate all the tips. And when I say appreciate I mean I’ll probably continue to do what’s not working because the back of a (insert company product) recommends to use x until y, because it wouldn’t possibly be trying to sell me more crap right??? And as things continue to decline go on (insert website) and buy more products because z is starting to happen and then, oh man, what comes after z?

Give 'em to me... I'm sure I'll end up killing 'em [emoji12] .

Maybe you need a Reefbot, so you can stress about chasing numbers?
A chiller so you can add some cold-water corals too?
You know what would totally complement those sticks? A Tiger Puffer. And it will totally fit in that tank.

Seriously, tho... great looking tank.

Reefbot doesn’t sound expensive enough. I’m thinking apex deluxe and trident with a DT and sump camera. That way when I get alert that my alk has gone up or down 0.001 dKH I won’t have to spend all day thinking and worrying, I’ll be able to just watch them all day worrying.

Yeah I'm going to have to agree with the others they are in pretty bad shape..... I think the only hope you have is to send them all to me every last one so I can take care of them for you

You clearly should not own a reef tank so send me all your Corals! :p

I just realized my phosphorus was 63 three days ago. Does that mean all these could finally be slow rtn’ng or “bleached” 2 weeks from now??
Nah. I'd be more worried about the explosion of hair and bryopsis algae that will inevitably take over.
I think I see a green spot in that first pic... quick, tear out all the rock and give it a good scrub with an angle grinder!
