You think just cutting off top and mounting to a plug would save the tops?
U should charge ur phone

Yeah, who knows. If you are dosing and you regularly monitor your tank and know it's stable I wouldn't change anything. Unless you have more than just this coral that's making you concerned. If you don't regularly check your alk, might be good to see what your actual demand is. Coraline blooms alone can burn up that Kalk.
That's what I use complimented with bayer. It's good stuff.
I don't. My pH is 8.3-8.45. I scrub CO2 via an airline to my skimmer. Brought me up from 7.9-8.15 swings. I did before I moved to the growout system. I liked it, but it's tough until you get a strong regimine down. You can't leave residual water, it needs to be fresh as it goes bad after a couple weeks (smaller container helps here), small mistake has big consequences, etc, but it is tried and true when it's dialed and like I said if you know you're stable don't stop. Stability is key. I only use a reactor now with dosers for cal/mag etc out of preference for long term and less maintenance for MY style.
Do you have other healthy SPS?
I hear that. Reactors can be pricy initially, but I got mine used and bought a new probe, media, and I feed with a maxi jet inline pump (26$) for a total investment of like 550/600. That will pay for itself in a couple years, if not completely in monetary terms it definitely pays itself off in maintenance too.Yeah I'm looking to simplify my maintenance!
Only way to know if there's pests is get more acros that are healthy and see how they do.Yeah a have some month caps and red digitati doing good.
Good find/post! I didn't even question it to look it up. Just seemed like a lot IME.May be an irrelevant point, but BRs recommends max kalk at 2 teaspoons, not tablespoons. That's the saturation point of kalk and the rest will not mix in with the ato water.
