SPS polyp Extension at night?

Following up on this with your recent posts I see a trend with a lot of your SPS regarding growth and polyps.

They're not happy and mature if they're not extending way out at night. My flow doesn't change at night and I get crazy polyp extension. I'd really recommend ge WC suggestion in you other thread until you can see things improve.

It's easier to maintain stability when you keep it simple.

I just havent checked. I am too tired to wake up at 1 in the morning haha. I might take a peak tonight and see what I can find. i actually am finding better polyp extension since I got rid of the angelfish in my 180gallon reef and since I moved some of the corals to better places yesterday. In the 55gallon everything has polyp extension might not be a whole lot but it has some. I had a rescure coral that was brown and had no polyp extesion(have a thread just havent updated it in a while) But now it is starting to get a purplish tone with maybe a yellowish tip. PE is getting better on that as well. The only thing that has not a lot of PE is that pink table. but it is having some now a days. I will check at night and write back when I do finally check it at night.

Just look when you wake up. As long as it's not getting morning light they'll still be out. The initial hit of light makes them retract. That's their signal.

If I do a quick lights on to check things my vivids tips are insane and then gone in a minute.

Depends on acro. More pronounced overall and tips should have large polyps. Here's some bad pics.
