spspirates 150 gallon build

Still looking. You know the old saying. When you need something it's not there but when you don't need it's everywhere....LOL I have off tomorrow so going to hit up some shops in town.

Water Test.

First attempt had a leak in the far left drain coming from a coupling (not enough glue ) so instead of trying to patch it somehow I went a head and replace the whole drain. Playing it safe. So......second attempt dry as a bone! Going to let it run a while before I drain the tank and sump and dry it down to get ready for sand and rock. So looking at the hydro dynamics of the system it seems to be a very....well......the most quiet system I have ever ran! The Reef Octopus 5500 DC is unbelievably quite! The way it ramps up from 1-5 and the slow start is amazing. No more plugging and unplugging. The Ghost Overflow is no doubt quiet even before ever broken in! Wife loves it and started making fun of how loud the old reef was.LOL!!
