Replacement parts for stand arrived today. Fixed that. Measured for an inside shelf and top. May not need the top tho so we will see. Plan on cutting those out tomorrow after work. Gonna try to get a coat of paint on them as well but that may be pushing it.

Shelf for inside stand done. Used an door to some old kitchen cabinets. Cut to fit and rattle can paint black. Pix another time.

Haul from swap can be found on my main build thread. Some nice stuff for both tanks. I saw some pretty sweet pre-made aquascapes at the swap. Price point was a bit out of my league. I respect the time and skill it takes to make them because I hate aquascaping. But I won't spend 300 on something just because I am lazy and don't like doing it. If I did stuff like that I would have a maid. Plus the dishwasher took a #÷!& the other day and I hate doing dishes more then aquascaping. Plan between now and indi is to water test the tank, move existing tank over 2ft so I can set up new tank, sand scape and water the new tank. Not seeing that happen but goals are good to have.

Water and flow check and check. If it goes well overnight will drain, make a slight adjustment to the return pump and fix the slight issue with not being 100% level. Front has to come up a smidgen.

It's one of those older Innovative Marine aluminum stands with a weird imitation wood grain wrap on it. Black plastic panels.

For @Mhamilton0911 pump results for water changes.
-The Cobalt worked but by the time I was at the bottom of the brute can it wouldn't and it was really slow. Will use it to mix salt not to pump it out.
-Sicce 1.5 is getting used as the new return (instead of the cobalt). At first test it appears I will get enough flow from it alone. Hopefully no immediately need an additional wave maker. It's running wide open and I will set my scape up to minimize flow restrictions.
-Sicce 3.0 this one worked amazing to get the water out of the brute. Fast and worked all the way to the bottom of the can with no issues.
-To drain I just clamped a run of 3/4 tubing to tank and ran the other end to the bathroom sink. Sucked and walla drained the whole thing no issue. The run was about 20 ft. No pump needed.
I have to look up the max head pressure and flow rates for these so I will update with that info in a bit.

Cobalt mj 900 flow rate 230gph. Max head pressure 46 inches
Sicce 1.5 syncra silent flow rate 358gph. max head pressure 6ft
Sicce 3.0 syncra silent flow rate 714gph max head pressure 9.9 ft.
So you can see why one works better then the other for certain applications. Thinking I could use a sicce 2.0 to upgrade the return rate to 568. Appears they are running st Patrick's day sales on some sites already and sicce products are included.

Just in case you’re ever looking for another pump, a few reefers (one I know) use Periah pumps for their returns. They all really like the pumps. Here’s a link to them being sold by the pond division of SeaSide Aquatics. SeaSide also has their main site which is the second link down. They are a big distributor out of Anaheim, CA and carry a crap load of items. From tanks to, well, you name it. If they’re not careful, one could spend a lot of time looking at all the stuff they carry!
Oh, BTW, the Periah pumps can also be found on Aliexpress for less cash.

I have a tds question. In the basement the tds out of the sanitary tub faucet is 127. Up 2 levels in the bathroom it's 90. Does that make sense? Thought it would be the same. But now thinking about it maybe the solids are heavy and don't make it up 2 levels and settle out?

Sounds unlikely. The D is for dissolved but it could be.

That is pretty strange. Cannot say I’ve ever heard of a difference like that before.
