Still struggeling help

Have you thought about using a phosphate reactor... I was having crazy algae blooms with an outside reef tank and this helped control my problem.. combined with extra employees on the cuc crew

The pro version will definitely help to lower down the PO4 and NO3 once you reached the ULNS state. Its a complete package with bacteria, vitamin and amino all together but you need to understand that its customised for all those people who already have a ULNS system not like yours.Put the ROWA in the sump with a reactor and change it after 3-4 days for first two weeks. Dont use a lot in a single go but change it frequently. What and how much you feed the fishes and corals?

Feedig ocean omega

One flake food once a week and what is consumed om a few minutes. 2 times a week i dose af vitality or Build ( the one for reviving corals)

I have the Aquaforest reaktor Wich i Can run Rowa in easy Also have an Aqua medic reaktor 200 ml on side running Carbon.

One more thing about H2O2 dosing. It will sure help you to get rid of cyano but if you dont find the cause then be ready to face it again. So try to cure the cause not the symptom. I am hopeful you will get rid of it but you need time.

Could the coarse not be adding new live rock and rebuilding structure.

Everyting started after i came home from maldives and gf beought a tiny rock whit her Wich ended in front of the tank (suvinier picked up on Beach)

Po4 is now Down to 0,05 ppm and no3 5 ppm

Installed a Maxspect 260 for more flow.

Yet the Brown stuff is still comming back added a couple of snails and hermits

Take the fish out before you do anything and put them in a clean tank without any sand. Just until you're done cleaning up this toxic mess! It could kill your livestock. How on earth did this even happen???

Sadly that aint an option. have to deal whit it like this if the tank dies it dies and ill have to do it all over. dont have a qt tank or space for it.

have ordred a microscope now and faunamarin dino x - chemiclean ( not gonna just dump it in) but ill determine what it is whit the microscope and move on from there.. apparenly nothing worked so for reducing no3 po4 upping the flow wet skim dry skim . water change and cleaning gravel.

I would stop all treatments the money your spending on those treatments could easily get you a small QT set up (everyone should be QTing everything before it goes in main display) That tank needs to be blacked out for two weeks then a 50 percent water change let it cycle to weeks again in the dark and then a 25 percent water change. Then restock slowly and take about three weeks to slowly bring lights back up starting with a few hours a day until full lighting cycle. Your spinning your wheels with all these treatments. No light means no way for that algea to grow then you can try to get a grip on your water quality.

You probably still have hi nutrients but there being sucked up before it will show up on your testing

get a clean up crew including emeralds asap. Agree with the above post about turning off your reds completely. Depending on corals, you might go dark for 48 hours. I mean completely dark with tank covered. I would also pull as much rock out as possible and scrape with toothbrush. Unfortunately, you are going to need to be diligent here.

Everyone is giving you good advice but this is a struggle you're going to have to deal with any time nutrients spikes you got to realize that your nuisance algae is taking up a lot of the nutrients before you can get it to register on your test kits

Well its been under both a lab grade microscope and a hobby. I am dealing whit dinos. Though water Changed gravel cleaning turkey belaster. Seems to be working its resending and there aint much algae either the po4 is 0,04 and no3 is 5 so its cleaning up. Dinos dont really affect those values og Im not wrong.

Hard work attacking every Brown spot as it show whit vacum seems to help.

But gosh all that water making is a pain (makin 10 l an hour)

maybe this was already asked and i missed it, but are you using RODI water?

i've never dealt with an algae breakout like this in reef aquariums, but it's happened in the past with freshwater - i took everything back to basics.

Yes i am whit tds of 0 ppm

Its dinos the problem so dont Think it would be from the ro unit

Sorry if I missed your reply to this but I had an unbelievably ugly tank with hair algae everywhere and this stuff wiped it out in days. I would dose this and after it cleans tank start up an ATS

Ill have to See id he sends to Denmark Think it could be a problem but maybe that would work Got 4 hours of light today and dosing hydrogen preoxide

Dont Seem to help much though

The corals there are Alive are Doing great some Never looked better. After Aquaforest switch.

The one under had been dead for some time left it in since some of those i though where dead os bouncing back slowly

Ill get cuc tomorrow would love a Conch but aint able to get hold on those here in Denmark.
Try www.reefcleaners.org I don't know if they ship to Denmark but I've always used them. They will customize a cuc to your needs.
