So I noticed that my acro has started to lose tissue at its tips over the past few days. Is it STN and of so what do it do? Will post parameters tomorrow

It all depends on your system. Mine cant tolerate more then .5 dkh or 10-15 ppm. But my other tank can loose 1 dkh without anything getting hurt. A good rule to try an accomplish, is less then a .5 dkh swing a dayHow much of a ALK swing is needed to create issues like that?

What ive learned from having little die off, it takes a little while for the skin to start growing back over it. If i clip into old skin right before the die off, it usually heals and starts to grow right awaySo it looks to be slowing down but still progressing, according to my red sea test kit my dKH is 9. Thoughts on what I can do to help it make a comeback? Should I cut the tips off or dip it?
Good ol fingers!! Haha not joking either, but Stainless steal scissors, bone cutters. I use tile clippers....time to fine some clippers to use, any recommendations?
If theres no skin left, it will start to regrow from the healthy tissue over the tips from what ive seen but takes a little bit of time. If you clip them off just like fragging a coral, the skin will heal and start to grow right awayWhat happens if you don't clip the tips off?
