Nope, cleaner shrimp are pretty much ornamental. While they will "clean" your fish, our tanks aren't loaded with parasites like fish in the ocean would be.

I think my cleaner shrimp gets annoyed at my fish because my fish do not want to be cleaned. My cleaner shrimp pretty much hangs out under an overhang and just sways(in the ocean this is a signal to fish that the shrimp is ready to clean someone).

I had them for a purpose, to eat aiptasia. Once the aip's were gone, they started going after my coral for food. They ended up on the end of a skewer eventually.

Crabs are opportunistic eaters, if it's a free meal they don't have to chase down, you can bet they'll go for it.
With that said, I have never had an issue with green mithrax crabs, and red leg hermits. Yet others have nothing but issues with them.
Many cool inverts besides shrimps and crabs. Conch's, nudibranch, many different types of snails, reef lobsters, etc, etc.

And you would think being so close to the actual reef, anything on the reef would be available to you. You would think it would be much cheaper then it is over here where they have to be collected, then transported half way around the world.

Love my urchins!
Algae eating machine! BUT they do love coralline more. Coralline to an urchin is like crack, they just can't get enough. I have 2 urchins in my tank, and it is devoid of coralline. Any coralline that grows during the day, is gone by the next morning.

Hehe are urchins hardy enough? My tank is relatively new that’s all. I have a lot of red/brown on sand tho thinking it’s diotoms but the trochus don’t seem to be eating it all that much

There are certainly wrasses that will go for shrimp. I personally had a trio of melanurus' in my old system that would systematically tear them apart. Larger wrasses like Thalasoma sp. And the like are also prone to it.
Smaller flashers and fairies will do great in your sized tank and will not go for shrimp.

My 3.5” Melanurus is fed 3x per day on a mix of frozen mysis, LRS frenzy, Reef Nutrition R.O.E and pellets (+I top off with pods monthly) and systematically destroys any cleaner shrimp I’ve had (and have added). Wish I had your luck.
