Stocking suggestions for a 50 gallon fowlr

55g wont the tangs outgrow your tank? I originally wanted a hawaiian yellow tang, but after reading alot of threads, I decided not to get one instead since all fish that i would be putting in would be permanent

You are correct. That list of fish posted should be in a 125-180 tank, not a 55. That mix of fish will not work long term in a 55. Keep with your plan with small fish.

Gorgeous fish! I'd still be prepared to remove one just in case there is aggression. Typically they don't mix too well in a small tank especially when they have similar body shape and colouration.
Trex, was there any aggression between your 3 to begin with?

Some minor chasing when I moved the flame into the tank (( the coral beauty and multicolored had been together for about 15 months before I moved )). The flame had been part of a pair, along with an C. deborae. I lost one of the flames during the move, so I decided to put the flame in with the other 2 --- I had the flame in an acclimation box for about a week. When released it chased the coral beauty for a tiny bit, but nothing ever came from it.

The old flame pair and C. deborae,

So I think I've decided to put 3 banggai 1 flame angel 1 royal gramma 1 yellow goby 1 carpenter or pygmy wrasse and 2 cleaner shrimps + CUC
And if I can still add 1 purple firefish
