Stocking suggestions for a 50 gallon fowlr

I dont like the mystery wrasse, can I add carpenters flasher wrasse instead, I will not be adding black clownfish anymore

I just got my cardinals a few weeks ago. My LFS said that the male tend to have a longer dorsal fin. So I'm hoping I have a pair.

Don,t put a coral beauty and a flame angel together' I tried but coral killed flame

My coral beauty and flame (( along with a multicolored )) have been together for 3 years now, no issues.

I see, i actually changed my mind about the coral beauty, saw it in an lfs, didnt find it that attractive, im planning flameback instead lol

Both have their appeal;

I will try to put a flame and a flameback in a 50g with 3 banggais and a royal gramma

Gorgeous fish! I'd still be prepared to remove one just in case there is aggression. Typically they don't mix too well in a small tank especially when they have similar body shape and colouration.
Trex, was there any aggression between your 3 to begin with?

Im not sure but doesnt the flame angel appear to be more triangular in shape? Lol anyway I prefer the flame over the flameback, thanks for the tip though

Ah right. Sorry, I was under the impression you were going with the flame back and coral beauty. The flames do look a lot different to the flame back :)
Even though, still be prepared to separate them. Angels can be cranky little fish when they wana be. But then again, yours might turn out to like Trexes and be perfectly happy with one another.

Once your tank is cycled don't be in a rush to stock and consider aggression of the fish being introduced. Usually I move rocks around before introducing a new fish. It makes the current ones find new turf and allows the new introduction to acclimate. Yellow tang is a great starter also.

In a 55g I have:
2 black percula clowns (biggest bullies, punks)
1 yellow tang (bully when it wants to be)
1 hippo tang (back up bully for the yellow tang)
2 pajama cardinals (sleepy, but steady)
1 lion (will eat anything that will fits it's mouth, no one bugs it)
1 flame angel (newest resident and being bullied, but holding it's own)
1 snowflake eel (has no clue what's going on)
+ clean up crew

There is definitely a pecking order, but somehow the pajama cardinals are untouched. Maybe because they were there from the beginning...

55g wont the tangs outgrow your tank? I originally wanted a hawaiian yellow tang, but after reading alot of threads, I decided not to get one instead since all fish that i would be putting in would be permanent
