Strange behaviour new clownfish

Did the fish act lethargic and stopped eating before you lost it?

I just got these 2 clowns since last friday. He eat yesterday, did not saw any aggresion from the bigger one. Indeed today he did not seems to eat

seems like about 0.15ppm. Best course of action is a water change

I just did a waterchange from 15% 3 hours ago. the other clown seems fine, he is contantly looking for food and does not have any strange signs

good, just watch and observe for any strange behavior

If the other one died and they only were bought on Friday, without qt, my money is disease. The biggest question is what the culprit was.

Yep.. i know it was a risk to put these without QT, but because i had no fish yet i wanted to try for the best

Did his colors look faded or did he look slimy? I've seen a lot of clowns for sale over the last couple months with Brooklynella. Even saw one retailer lose an entire batch of captive bred clowns within 72 hrs. Over 60 clowns all came in covered in brook. Ocellaris, percula, saddlebacks, and tomato. Only survivors were some of the tomato clowns.

When i bought them they were looking both fine without any signs. But today the one that died looked indeed a bit bleached but nothing really strange on the skin

today he sat in the same spot all day with less flow. sometimes it suddenly flew very fast to the surface, which is why I started this post. he looked a little pale and hasn't eaten today. I have fed them the last 2 days: a little bit of flake food and in the evening a little bit of Mysys.

Doesn’t look far off from what I’ve seen with internal parasites
Without closeup pics on whites it’s hard to say for sure though.

Unfortunately I did not take any pictures and he is already gone.. thank you anyway for helping. Now its the next morning and the other clown is still doing fine, do not see anything strange now. Lets see..

Thats what I just investigate here in the forum, thanks! Do you or anybody knows if this is contageous to the other clown?

To cure internal parasites, you can use mdeicated food. Ive heard people use API general cure, but lets wait for the experts
