Stylophora dying

I've had this stylophora Frag in my tank for 20 days this is my first sps in this tank I have a lot of soft and LPS corals and Anemones doing great tank is 13 months old parameters are below

I read these sps are one of the easier ones so I dunno what could be off in my tank that it's dying I don't dose anything btw Im buying a 5" neon birdsnest Colony from another local reefer in my reef club tomorrow so any help is appreciated don't want it to die as well


It's located maybe midway in my tank under 250w halides and medium to strong flow

Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5
Calc 460
Dkh 8.6
Mag 1260

Calc Mag and Dkh were last checked about 10 days ago

What is your phosphate at? Are you doing any carbon dosing?

sorry i didnt see this question i haven't tested my phosphate i will today and no i dont dose anything at the moment
 
So I just ran a phosphate test and it's really high can this be accurate? The only algae I have is film algae

I would check dKH more often then that, especially if the tank is new or you're new to SPS.
What's the dKH now? Do you dose alk or Ca? What is your water change schedule like?

I'm not sure how Stylos handle high phosphate, but that sure is high.

my dkh is 8.6 as of yesterday and my tank is 13 months old and i dont dose anything i do a water change once a month of about 25 gallons on a 170G system (150g tank + 20G sump)
 
i also dont run carbon or gfo i guess i will need to if this phosphate kit is accurate i will run another test to confirm it
 
I don’t think you can save that frag but you might get lucky and have some bail out babies. Leave the frag in place and do a decent water change. Recheck that phosphate test just to be xtra sure. The rest of the frags don’t look too bad. It just might be a finicky poci frag. I have an entire pocillapora colony from one single bail out polyp.

I just ran Another test looks pretty much the same to me i guess I gotta do some water changes and run some gfo
