Styrofoam lined boxes, where are you getting them from?

You know the worse thing is.... I have about 10 of them I could give you we were close but couldn't be much further away in CONUS... :(
Road trip to Austin?

Superior shipping supplies.com specializes in shipping supplies for fish and reptiles. Have used them for years! Don’t know if they are cheaper than what you are buying but worth checking them out. I get all my bags and heat packs and boxes from them.

Thanks for sharing Coezy! I'll check them out!

Are you talking about heavy duty insulated 100% styrofoam boxes like this ??? . this picture is from the bed of my truck. I am a urologist and we throw out several a week ( temperature sensitive medications come in them along with several freezer packs ) I can only bring so many home. the rest go in the trash :( . Check medical offices / hospitals etc near your home . They make great planters too when covered in colored cement like stucco ( that's why I save them )

Absolutely! Except probably the smaller boxes but yes, they are perfrct for shipping! Thanks for the heads up! I'll try to reach out to some in my area to see if we can reuse some of them instead of throwing everything in the trash!

Too bad you don't live near me. I work at a Pharmacy and we get refrigerated medications everyday. I have so many of these in the warehouse that I throw out a lot weekly. We do reuse some of them but we get more than we ship. Heads up to anyone in the Long Island area if they need insulated boxes.

This is just few of them there are plenty more scattered around the warehouse

I want them all! [emoji22]

You guys have all given me great ideas for who to reach out to though!

With styrofoam being such a scourge on landfills, with it never decomposing, I'm really liking the "Reuse" option a number have talked about. I've got to believe it would be a relief to your wallet as well, with your only expense your time and the gas to pick these guys up. I'm willing to bet you can set up arrangements with pharmacies/hospitals/colleges to the point you won't know what to do will all these styrofoam boxes. I'm envisioning opening your garage door and seeing it packed to the ceiling with styrofoam boxes.:D:D:D Good luck in your search.

Local reefer crushed by styrofoam boxes he hoarded in his garage...

I hear you. Sounds so wasteful to have all these industries shipping styrofoam boxes weekly and not finding a way to reuse them! I'm on a mission now!

I used to work in a hospital and pathology and pharmacy got styro boxes in everyday. They would just trash them. Check the hospitals.

Should I dumpster dive at my local hospital? [emoji28] Officer, I'm just looking for styrofoam boxes!

I would just ask someone there. Some things thrown out you may not want to be part of that. Pharmacy would be a good start.
