How long have you had slick now? Any idea how long he has grown to? Seems much longer than 18" in that video...

I decided to see if slick would eat a half of silver side. First I found out that my tiny little clingfish is very brave and hungry. LOL then I found out that slick is an omnivore! Can't wait to feed him more

And if you catch it please do not kill it. I'm sure someone would like it and I absolutely hate to see any creature get killed for nothing. Lovely .... this was my only hope of surviving the Slick’ageddon - that he was vegan ... but no, turns out his master has trained it to eat flesh .... great, yeah ... it turns out he will eat me. ... great, just great.

I understand some of the reasoning there. But let's be honest these Critters came from the ocean. Not Generations ago but this exact animal came from the ocean. So as long as you're letting it go in the area you got it from I don't see the problem. I would not let it go if you're unsure where it came from

I absolutely loathe the Eunice from experience. The tank was set up with Tonga rock, it was the hitchhiker. Each night corals that were fine ended up dead by morning. I noticed a rubble being attached to the outside of the rock and what looked to be antennae. With a red flashlight and a lot of checking I finally saw this long worm. I ended up taking out the rock, chiseling it away to find the tunnels it made and an eight inch nasty worm. Out with the rock and the worm. It ate two Rhyzos, a bleeding apple scoly and a clam, the inside were absolutely gone. Needless to say I am not a fan of any worm.

Yeah, first thing he did was eat all my Kenya trees. 2 huge parents, 12"+ and 6" across. And all the babies as well. I believe he cannot escape my fuge. I hope I'm right.

Wiz, I hope it doesn't get into your system. Very destructive and hard to get out once it's in the rock.

So after a while of taking care of slick I have decided that it is not for me. Especially at this moment that I am having a lot of money trouble. Slick requires his own tank. My refugium serves well for him. But he is destroying all of my macros and my refugium is just not even close to what it was, what it should be and what it will be. So it is with a heavy heart that I let you all know this thread will be coming to an end soon. I am not in a rush it will take some time to cut off the fuge and clean it out and get him out. I will do some final updates eventually. Thank you all for following along. And I hope that I could find him a good home which I will also put a link to if possible.

This makes me surprisingly sad.

Even though it is coming to an end, you have had a very rare experience in the world of reef keeping. I've enjoyed following along on this unique journey.

I guess we will know you found someone to take him when we see these guys at your place.
