I do suggest getting an RO/DI filter, strongly. it will save you money in the long run to make your own water, rather than buying every time. You can't use tap water or you'd promote algae. Which reminds me, I need to replace my filter soon

Okay I see.. I have a water store literally down the street lol . I could just buy the water there right?

as long as it's RO/DI water! Or distilled, but RO is preferred

I am not sure- I don't think so. I know LFS sells them.

Trust me, you'll wish you have your own RO/DI System, lol

Agree with Cody...

My sump was a side of the road 40 gal freebie(took a lot of cleaning) and 12.00 in plastic, 3.00 in silicon tada! (ok still need over flow and return stuffs but need those if you buy the fancy boxes)

Ro/di unit was 150.00 a weekend of fussing to install but its there....much prefered over hauling water from the stores and I dont trust LFS water anyway.
