Ghostbox sump has a crack, no impact point. just cracked.. from top to bottom, and all the way acrosss... holding water as of 2 seconds ago, I think it may blow out. I have no containers or spare tanks atm what the heck do I do?!?!?!

You don't have buckets? Can you cut off the drain to your sump and take the water out of the sump? Hard to make suggestions not knowing your setup.
Gary

empty it and use a 5g bucket.

btw, i got your PM on NCRC late re: your tripod. rest assured i still have it. i am not making the june 26th swap so let me know how to get it to you.

also, just screw the sump for now and throw your heaters in your display. i wouldn't count on the sump holding water w/ that crack or being able to repair it without replacing the pane

+1 to the above; drain that sucker and set a 5 gallon bucket in its place till you can get a replacement.

I found a sump, drained water and live rock into it.. remote one heater to sump and larger heater to display....

I guess I am plumbing this thing again on friday... man I wish there were no swear filters I would left the reefing hobby know how angry I am!! j/k

*sigh*

good luck! Check out a rubbermaid bin to use as a sump. I used to use an 18 gal. one on one of my tanks. One of the nicest 210 sps setups I've ever seen was just a bunch of rubbermaid bins underneath the stand. Hope that helps!

GOOD LUCK!

I think everything is gonna be ok.. uploading HD of the madness hahahah

haha yeah.. plumbing the system again tonight. *busts out the hack saw*

AHahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha I was aiming at the wrong tank.. I forgot crystal clear acrylic is the only tank you can jedi mind frag through.

hahahahahahahahahaha

you should roll through Andy, Jake is gonna mob over and we're re plumbing my frag tank into that spare sump I got from the club.

Lol gnarly crack there, were the baffles too large and not enough space left for silicone expansion? Seems like only explanation for that kind of crack it must have been some constant outward pressure on the glass and it finally couldn't take it anymore.

Shall be all good guys.. I will post a video tonight or tomorrow of the repair... ha. Beer and PVC glue.
