There were plenty of people here at R2R that played a large part in all of that!

I do spend 5-7 days ramping up the copper as well. Especially with wrasse. (Hopefully this still works with your vacation plans). I think it's a critical part of the success seen using the Hanna copper power combo!

It will not work with those plans but will have to figure that out. i was trying to time them all going into the display before my vacation.

I'd prefer to stay away from Formalin. With Hypo and flukes is it a full 30 days or is it 2-5?

Well I dipped both for 5 minutes and did not see any flukes but then again I don’t believe I have ever seen flukes. Hard to tell in Home Depot bucket even with Light.

So I will just bite the bullet and ramp up the copper power over the next week after I add the little flasher to an acclimation box in the 20 gallon.

FWIW; When a fish has gill flukes, you will almost always see these behavioral symptoms: Head twitching, yawning, scratching targeting the gill area, the gills may be pale and swollen, heavy breathing, gulping air at the water surface.

Gonna do hypo. I’m leaning toward flukes given the random twitching, yawning and occasional gill scratch.
