Wow! These are unbelievable! Any chance you know where I can find one of these :)
Well ( picture me kicking a rock) this is the start of my sunburst anemone farm so just Gona let them do there thing, as soon as I have a few (like MarvIn has rbtas) watch for the post cause they won't last!!! :)

I only suppliment the main 3 for the sps. Usually just light and flow and they are all happy. Feed rods a couple times a week, sometimes not at all.

i use brightwell's vitamarin-m once a week. i change water every other week with red sea coral pro and toss in some brightwell's microbacter7 once a week. i feed at least every other day with mysis or krill.

Interesting... I normally do not direct feed.. maybe once every 3 months I feed 1/4 of a silverside (rest of time a tentacle MIGHT get a very small piece of frozen food that the other fish havent gotten to before it sinks).. but I just saw someone post on here that they never feed silversides and another which stated they heard it can kill them... This is first time I've heard after 3.5 yrs in hobby.. anyone have more detail?

I just keep my foundation stable, 15% water change every week, a little dose of iodine and feed a little piece of shrimp every week

Happened to me about 5-7 years ago. Had an otherwise healthy H. malu, fed it a silverside in the evening, the next morning it was a pile of goo. I know of a couple other experienced anemone keepers who have had similar experience.
Now, when I directly fed my anemones (( which hasn't happened in about 2 years )) I use frozen (( thawed )) krill or PE mysis.

I personally find very little use of silversides for any marine animals, less the voracious ambush predators such as lionfish, eels, etc. Even then there are more nutritious foods available. Seems to me many animals have a hard time digesting a full fish compared to something like Mysis or Krill.

I take a thawed silver and I dice em slice em and garlic em and just had two nem split at same time and never an issue. Used to be they were high in mercury but are now raised in fish farms if I recall.
