Swollen Mummy's eye chalice

That zoa garden is sweet looking. I got a 110 I just set up that I'm planning on doing mainly zoas in. It's sand less used black star board on the bottom.

I love that blue on the dragon eyes. That's an awesome color combo.

Lights are starting to go off

One is going to mainly zoas. Other one is going to be a chalice and some favia. Idk yet. I just keep adding tanks. Kinda a hobby turning into an obsession. Lol

Looks great John! I'm jelly I can't have tanks that big yet. Apartment life. When I get a house I plan on staying in for a long time I'll get big tanks :p

I would put it right inside of the shadow in the center of Your tank. I would say it's the light. I have had some turn completely white and still grew normal but it does take a long time to recover though.

Funny enough I just placed it there befor I read your comment! Thanks for the input I'm gunna try my luck right where you recommended :p

Too much light or its sitting in an area where the led blending is less than perfect and your getting to much of one spectrum. I had the same thing happen with a mummy eye I have had for years - it had actually turned orange! Moved it to a different part off the tank and the color started coming back.

Hey everyone it's been awhile just a follow up.
So the mummy's eye is doing well still a little puffy and not as bright as the day I got it but it is growing and has returned to a green state but still puffy in the center and swollen but it's growing and happy so I'm just gunna leave it as is. It did seem to be the lights and I adjusted the placement to a lower position in the tank aswell as changing the lights and tuning them down about 8% from where they were. So far all my corals seem to be growing and doing well.

Chalice is located on the bottom left rock

You could try placing it to the lower side of your tank to see if it colors up. Could also be just trying to acclimate, mine did this for the first 6 mths. Are you feeding it, feeding helps allot. I feed mine at least 2x week.
