wow your tank looks awesome I have a 28 gallon I want to setup it just sits half empty with rock and sand waiting for me to get some kind of lighting to replace the pc's that came with it. its the enclosed jbj i think if I can get it to look half as good as yours it will go next to my bed as well crossing fingers on finding the right led for it..thanks for the inspiration.

I picked up a shield from pico aquariums for the mp 10. I really hated the slurping noise the thing made. Especially in the middle of the night. The shark nose goby is so funny. They are real amusing fish.

Here's a pic of my 57g. It's so sad I lost about 75% of my livestock when Nemo hit us last year. No power for a week almost it sucked but it's getting back to normal now. I'm just afraid to stock it until the spring.

So I saw this little thing moving around my sand bed. It looked weird like it had tentacles. It is maybe a few millimeters long. So I looked even closer and we'll you'll see it in the picture. It's on the snail shell. The star polyps are perfect for size comparison.

So the edge I had set up @ work got broken. The top glass cracked so I took it home and took the glass off. It was pretty easy actually. So it sat on my deck all winter and I couldn't bare to see it empty so I cleaned up the ac50 and hydor nanno and grabbed some sand and a piece of dry rock I had lying around and viola. A new tank is born. The light is an 18w led from green elements for now. I plan on building a full spectrum led for it. I'll probably replace the ac50 and intank media basket with a finnex hang on breeder box and turn it into a fuge. I'll also upgrade the powerhead to a tunze nanno stream 6015 or maybe an mp10 but I don't want the powerhead to cost more then the whole setup.

Just checking in to see if this tank held up after taking the top piece off? I just inherited a Edge 12 gallon and the top piece is cracked. There are lots of posts from 2012-2015 about taking off the top, but haven’t found any recent ones stating how the tanks held up and for how long. Any information you have is appreciated before I try to mod this tank. Thanks!!
