Sorry to hear. To a degree bad advice given By LFS and methelyne is best for freshwater fish and not iodine for a wound. Maracyn 2 was your go-to treatment or seachem kanaplex. Jay's advice was spot on

Thanks. I should have checked there for the meds sooner, but I think with the gravity of the wound there wasn't much I could do when I saw it.

I've kept an eye on the rest of the tank and haven't seen anything. So that's nice.
