I have placed two orders with them in the last month and really wanted to share my impressions of their rock and service, hands down 5 stars. The rock was of the highest quality with 4 species of macro algae and tons of life including the coolest decorator crab fully adorned in macro algae and sponges. Numerous species of sponges, limpets, several crabs and starfish. The rock was of varied shape and has very good porosity. I was worried a little about the airport pickup but it was zero hassle!

Great to hear! My rock and sand is due to ship on Monday 7/31. I'm excited. I have some of their sand, it's amazing. This will be my first rodeo with their rock.

I really did not take a lot of pics, but here are a few..... Nothing I would consider undesirable. Normal flora and fauna. I did forget to mention the 7 or so stony corals that were on the rock, they are doing very well..... And the tank cycled up perfectly and I have coraline growth in week 3.

I checked my rock over thoroughly and even still ended up with a long spine urchin, flame scallop, a very BAD crab a huge fireworm…
I’d keep an eye out for a few weeks anyway…

You can buy rubble that comes in packages of 8lbs. Whatever you can't fit in the display, you can throw in to your sump!

What is a bad crab ? I got bristle worms (which I wanted) but no fireworms, at least that I have found so far.

IME any crab is a bad crab, if I watch one for long enough/often enough they always misbehave; never fails….

I think the bad crabs that are being referenced are Gorilla crabs. My TBS came with 10 Gorilla crabs that I had to catch and dispose of. It also came with a decorator crab, shellback crab and multiple porcelain crabs which are all good crabs I’m my opinion.

30lbs of rock and 20lbs of live sand. I think the type and quantity of hitchhikers depends on time of year that the rock is collected.
