My pictures jump to October of this year, quite a few changes between may and then.

Will load pics and post soon. I redid rock work but looks the same.

I also thinned corals and sold some, and traded others.

+1 on this thread. I've enjoyed seeing your progress/accomplishments over the years. I am just starting so it's an inspiration to see people who keep with it for so long. I am about to transfer to the University of North Carolina Wilmington for the Marine Biology program, so seeing stuff like this keeps the hype up for me.

Grant, your tank is looking awesome. I have stopped by briefly to check out the thread but with the holidays haven't been around as much. Thanks for sharing all the pics. And since you are asking I would like to see more pics of your room. More of the equipment and how its all set up would be very interesting. Thanks again for sharing.

Hey, never took pics of the equipement and plumbing so will do that soon. I am almost caught up and then come the chalice tank and the 4X4 cube frag tank system.

Just now found the thread and enjoyed all the pictures. Very nice Grant.

I'm also one of those behind the scenes people who like to look at all the equipment.

Not to mention the frag tank and the anemone tank.

The cave or arch my yellow tangs love to fight over. Not sure why but who knows what fish are thinking, right?

As you can see 1/3 of my bare bottom is no montipora. I love it like that. Not to many people have a MB, some have DSB deep sand beds, BB bare bottom, but I have a MB montipora bottom.

My longterm goal it to have it all covered. Most likely will be the orangeish red that I have alot of, but have also some red, and also purple haze.

I think kinda unique. Just it traps detritis like mad under it and you cannot get it out easily. Have to aim powerhead under and it comes out in certain areas. But oh well. Trade offs, right?

The upper pics also shows the chips nicely. oregan tort, and blue tip green stags in the back.

Nice pic altogether. I think they are getting bettter.

Another one of that area, you can see the yellows took a liking to the migaia tort for a while. Oh well so be it....they tend to bite at corals sometime. That leaves more room for others.

High today is 20 so should be cleaning up around the house. After 2 blizzards of 20+ inches of the white stuff and then temps in the -10's for highs and -30's for lows.

This is the coral that came in on live rock as a zit.....1-2 polyps. Thought was a porites or something on live rock. Pretty nice. I think a humulus or something. (someone correct me please)
