Must speak for the yellow Hawaiian tang. Easy to keep beautiful fish, which is long lived, doesn’t get too large and a great tank citizen. Mine always keeps the peace in my tank. Breaking up fights or protecting new tank mates until they are acclaimed.

Vlamingi Tangs are my favorite for their size and personality. Unfortunate that they grow to be so large though.

Love my Hippo, really close battle with getting to see all the details of a yellow eye up close. I've swam with schools of a hundred or so yellow tangs in Hawaii which probably puts them in a very close 3rd for me. Turn around and BOOM, sea of curious yellow checking you out.

Best tang I ever owned was a Sailfin. Great fish. However, I voted Purple because they are absolutely beautiful. If I ever own a 120 gallon plus tank that would be the king.

Well I'm biased towards my Mimic, but I feel bad for him and I think he needs a much bigger tank. No real aggression but he needs more room.
Fortunately he doesn't NASCAR and has plenty of space to swim. He does a lot of figure 8s

I think I would rather see a smaller Tang, like a 2 spot Bristle or Tomini

440! Dream tank!!! I have a 150 and about to upgrade to a 220 i've just been dreading the move but the 220 would suit me well right now

Love my Dussemeri!!!. He is in a 440 so he has plenty of space and uses every inch of it.LOL

Yeah they need lots of space and stability its one of those tangs that need to go in and get established first before adding other fish..

The Achilles Tang is so stately and handsome. Unfortunately it’s a poor choice for most hobbyists for a myriad of reasons.

I want one soooooo bad! I saw one at the store one day but I was on my way to the Broncos game and we were early so we stopped in and I couldn't grab it and keep it in the car all those hours but its a definite must have!
