Tank emergency- Need ID ASAP - please help!!!

RODI temp matched to the tank temp. Aerate for 20-30 minutes before the dip. Use a dark container it's easier to see the white little sesame seed sized bodies of flukes on the bottom of the container. At around the 3 minute mark the flukes will begin falling off if present. 5 minute max on the dip. It's normal for the fish to freak a bit at the beginning. But if it continues, end the dip. Best of luck! ;)
Will post pictures after dip. Thank you all.

I just did the freshwater dip for 5 minutes . Almost looks like he likes the freshwater, he was very active and swimming in freshwater. Lol. I took some pictures of him in the net too. Some of the spots look like bite marks. Let me know what you guys think.

So are those white spots in the bottom of the bucket flukes or were they there before the dip?

Those were in the QT. I accidentally put it in the freshwater when I scooped him up with the net.

So no flukes. Ok.

Do you have any stinging corals or nems in your tank?

Frogspawn and pulsing Xenia. Pulsing Xenia is located near his cave but that’s been there for a long time.
Yellow circle is his cave and red is where pulsing Xenia located and yellow tang’s cave is behind the xenia.

I would do copper power instead personally. You can also pick up some reef rally while you are at it

I personally wouldn’t use it, I do a bath in reef rally then 14 days in copper power at 2.0, then to a fresh quantum’s tank.

Why wouldn’t you use it? Sorry, I am still new to reef.

I’ve never found a cure other than copper, but I’ve never used CP
What’s CP? Can I try it (ich-x) for couple day until copper power arrived? Or should I just leave the fish in QT for couple days?

Update - hippo is doing much better now. I ended doing ich-X because that’s the only one I have. He is swimming and eating like a pig again.
