Sailfin in distress, along with rat, mini/maxi, Rock anemone Duncan, zoos you get the idea

Po4 0.1
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 7
Ca 530
Magnesium 1400

Water change 20% (100 gal capacity w sump) last night and again this afternoon

Out of DI water and ideas

Thanks for posting parameters. Any glade plug ins, potpourri, or smell good candles near by. I've read where those can cause a bacterial bloom that presents how you described.

Thanks Helen

Just lost two more (6 line and Indian Ocean Lyretail Anthias)

Found a button battery attached to magnet on one of my circulation pumps not sure if it is a factor

What? As in a battery for a hearing aid? Grab some carbon soon!
Screw soon, like right now! [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122]

Sounds like a bacteria outbreak. Did you start using an air freshner or burn candles recently?

I'm guessing you have a skimmer? If so, is it going nuts making extra skimmate? Odds are the fish are suffering from a lack of oxygen.

Inspect that there hasn't been something accidentally dropped in the tank, like something electronic. Kits toy, Christmas ornament, look for the source of the battery.

Please take a picture of the battery itself and post, did you see any rust or corrosion?

We need pics here!!
As far of a bacteria bloom it should go away on itself but what you described I have my doubts.
Carbon doesn't help on a BB but skimming heavy will.
How do you dose ALK??

I would be doing a 100% water change over the next 24 hours. Carbon carbon carbon and find the source of the contamination. Get all dead stuff out of tank ASAP. Sorry for your loss.

This could be the problem as well but it doesn't explain the white film on the glass.

Leaking battery acid? If it's been in there for some time, and began to corrode and leak, could he be seeing precipitation?

battery seems intact with no signs of corrosion

RTA moved up high in the tank earlier today as did a fire shrimp that did not make it

Lots of gasping going on not sure if it was a good idea but I have taken some bubble wands from my FW tank to add oxygen

You can see some of the white film here
