Tank leveling issues.

One other thing is I drained 30-40% of my tank last night and I shimmed the corner that I thought required it. When I did this, the two other sides (front and left) became out of level, and the right side was centered. As a result, the water level that was measured did improve, with my measuring tape. It seems odd when I adjust one side, the other two go out of level further. Could the tank be warped or something of that nature?

The tank its self wont be warped, the water weight will cause it to warp/twist.
Like @vetteguy53081 recommended.
You might have to set the tank on a piece of plywood so it can help you level it easier.

Couple of questions....
Where are you using the shims at? Between the tank and the stand or between the stand and the floor?

And is the systems set on vinyl, hardwood flooring or carpet?

Shimming between the stand and the floor. The system is set on tile, 1st floor, concrete slab.

Ok good, just checking lol
Then i would take more water out of it at 75%, save it and then fine tune the leveling.

Plywood is on carpet in my application.
Shim between stand and fllor. For me, between plywood and floor

Would you guys still shim even if the water level is equal in the 4 corners of the tank? This is when I used a tape measure to check. Thanks

To be honest with you, i dont know if i would.
Thru the yrs ive learn to always level my tanks when i set them up in their place before i put anything in them. Then fill them up about a 1/4 way just to make sure and do whatever minor adjustments i would need to do.

Awesome demo. Thank you. I did check my water level with a tape measure, and all 4 corners match, however when I use the level, it seems two sides are out of level slightly. Could something be wrong with my tank? Thank you
Water is always level …. But if a bubble
Level has ever been banged or dropped it can be off .

if you trust your measuring skills if go
With it .
Measure everything including the height of each pain of glass to guarantee the water line can’t be measured correct but to be off

3/4 “ plywood with 5/8 “ styrofoam with shims . Use a good level and keep checking all parameters for level at 6” intervals while filling it up . Measuring the distance from the top of the glass to the water level all around the tank can work as well only if the glass is perfectly matched throughout the tank construction . Just make sure you have a long enough level for the tank measuring front to back , side to side , and diagonally.
