Can I start this program or method with other salt? I have a half bucket of Red Sea pro that I rather not throw away.
Other then that everyone that is doing this how do u like it?
How does it compare to other "methods"?
And do u dose 1,2,3 along with A B C?
And are u guys only using the salt 1,2,3 A B C and not the food or anything else they sell?

123 is for the supply and maintenance of the aquarium minerals and macro elements
ABC is Macro Elements only and use in conjunction with a Ca reactor or simple baling
it's an either or

Red Sea Pro is a highly buffered salt, much above the recommended levels when driving your tank down to ULNS "Ultra Low Nutrient System"
the reason is the corals cat cope with high buffering and very low nutrients,

So this can be started with a diffrent batch of salt.
With use of np pro and pro bio u can actually get away from reactors? That sounds like another plus for this system.
@jsker what do u test daily/weekly/monthly
And since u didn't say u had a fuge im guessing u don't have one and u are trying to control the nitrates and phosphates with the np pro and pro bio? If that is the case u don't need a fuge so another piece of equipment that is not needed.

This method uses Bacteria for Nutrient export, so normaly a Refugium isn't used
of course there will always be aquarist who mix methods

Np Pro and Pro Bio S are the Carbon Source and Bacteria strains used to drive down nutrients which are exported by the skimmer, the skimmer is set to dry skimmate
reactors are used for Zeolite Activated Carbon and Phosphate Minus, if required, I haven't needed too, all aquarium are different though !

Anyone doing this method have u had an algea problem in your display tank? I was reading that somewhere figure I'd ask the people doing this method
