I figured it wasn't an issue just wondering how to take care of it. Maybe I'll get a stirrer

depends on the size of the dosing container, I use a micro powerhead/Pump

I'm using Voss water bottles at the moment. I like how they look and they work well
Then a stirrer would work best. I am not concerned and do not stir the components

Lol i didn't realize i was offending some of you posting AF driven colors in this thread. Won't happen again rest assured. :)

Your definitely not offending anyone! Lol

You have amazing corals and colors! Thanks for sharing and please continue to do so!

Sarcasm sometimes is a compliment! [emoji4][emoji41]

lol no no share your secrets!! I wish I had access to corals like you though!

We're all good then :)

I think i have about 53 different acros in the display. All but two have been collected by hand or propagated by one collector only. That guy runs a large aquaculture facility which exports many of the exact pieces i have in my display to Sweden, UK and the US. To fill your wish you merely have to find out where Sustainable Reefs who are based in Cairns, ship their stuff to in the US......... send Christian an email and ask him who he supplies to.

Secret - i don't use AF vitality because it does not contain one of the least synthesized vitamins by autotrophic algae ( zoox ). I use AF Fish V because it also contains biotin ( B7) which is likely non existent in my water otherwise.

These two just came up from the T5 only sump tank. The blue based prostrata gets the same blue on all the growing tips and has red polyps near the tips. Didn't like the sump at all. See the bleached coralline at about 10 o'clock on the blue ring, that tells me the acro is stinging the competiton prior to encrusting in that direction which is a good sign.

Does this mean that AF Fish V contains everything that AF V has plus additional vitamins?

Nothing fancy he says lol [emoji23]

Well i don't think it's very fancy lol. Sump is 60" x 24" x 14" and has 10" of water throughout give or take. It adds about 200L to the system with the display holding 500L and the full width overflow holding another 50L. So a total of 750L or 200 gallons in actual water.

Manual float ATO clamp broke 6 months ago but a quick grip clamp fixed that problem. Water goes through a 100 micron sock then must travel through baffles with two mesh bags in it. One is 500ml phos minus and the other is carbon, both changed monthly. Then under and up through 13 liters of matrix and 2 liters freshly added life bio fil. Then goes into frag section to the left which is half the sump and empty atm except for a couple of crazy fish and two frags.
The water then comes into the skimmer section with my 5yr old Deltec 1455 - i will update to the current model if and when this one gives up the ghost. Awesome set and forget skimmer at a very good price compared to many similar flashier brands. Skimmers are skimmers as long as you buy a decent one.
I have a hose drawing air from outside to feed the skimmer otherwise i get pH swings during winter ( now ) when the house is locked up and the house heating running all night at 23 degrees C - i don't like the cold.........
Where was i, so then it goes through baffles where i placed the other 3 liters of life bio fil in two mesh baskets i made so i can give them a good swish or take them out to clean in water change water etc - i'm making four more of these to place 6 liters of the other stones in so the big bed isn't so deep. I will put two where the mesh bags are atm, one in the skimmer section and one will replace the stacked plastic mesh baskets in the return section - those cable tied end to end with a lid cut in the top make one new swishable media holder.
Water then goes back to the display via an Eheim compact 5000 pump. I have an Eheim 300W heater sitting on top of the media but it doesn't do much with the house at 21- 23C all year............ i don't like to be hot either............ :)

I drip alk daily from a plastic container holding 2 litres RO over 24 hours. The calcium goes in the ATO along with Mg.
