That’s an awesome pic and coral!

Thanks.... but trust me...It’s a terrible pic compared to what it really looks like. That one is my frag holding tank under an ai prime 16 hd. For some reason the pics come out terrible compared to my older hydra 52 HD’s. I’ll try to take a better one later. Color is much better on this piece in person under 250 par than my other colony in 450 par. Something to think about

Update like the previous times its slowly showing signs of stn again. Idk why but the last 3 times i tried it was the same case, slowly it starts to stn around the polyps and then through the course of a month it just dies completely. Now i see maybe the light isnt the issue, perhaps its the flow? What are the parameters for that system? @TCK Corals

Yes everything else is thriving, and i got alot of tck corals.

Yes that could be it 400 par from led I think is more intense due to the spot light effect then 400 par from mh so I’ve heard but don’t quote me

Yea i heard a couple people saying that i have it under 250 PAR now, polyps arw a little more extended now.

I did the same (lowered it a bit). Great encrusting but would like to see more color come out.

So unfortunately the sour polyp doesnt seem like its gonna make it again, the same case of slowly stn throught the course of a month or 2. I put it under 250 after a week or receiving it and left it there but its slowly loosing its flesh.

The blast furnace though is doing great and already encrusting on the plug

Yup completely dead now, just seems like a very sensitive coral i suppose.
