As the title would indicate, I was wondering if anyone had an idea of how long it was taking Tenecor to ship out items (as of end of September 2022)? I placed an order for one of their drop in AIO setups for a 75 gallon tank at the end of August and haven't anything from them since on when it might be shipping. I've tried to email them (info@...) but also haven't gotten a response there. I understand they are busy (build a good product and that happens!!), but just trying to set my own expectations on when I can get this tank up and running.

Thanks!

Good morning. Our lead times have dropped for many items. Most DIY Kits, lids and accessories now ship sane/next production day excluding weekends and holidays. Larger tanks now ship two weeks. This lead time is still subject to materials availability and cure time. Smaller nanos and frag lagoons are around three weeks. We expect these to come down soon. We have added capacity and are expanding our portfolio at the same time our latest CNC router will be operational by next week. She's a our fifth one and she's big. Laser cutters are arriving in two weeks. We too delivery of our first 3D printer last week. Three more on the way.

Can you please PM me directly? I don't see an order for this

Your tank is scheduled for this week. Should be shipping next week. These are the sizes we will be working on bringing down production times. That big router will be used for these little tanks.

Your order just started cutting. Should be finished in about an hour. That blue is my personal favorite.

By the way, for anyone who finds this thread in the future, you have to LOVE a company that responds to a customer within minutes, and has their order on the CNC within the hour!!! Good stuff!

Thank you. We try our best. The challenges have been keeping up with orders and introducing new products. We made significant investments in new machinery (with more on the way), new space to put it in (we now have three production plants in the metro phoenix area), adding staff to our already amazing design and engineering team, and listening to our clients. We still screw up but try to fix it fast when we do. Going off the path here but this is what we are working on (in particular order):

- Skins for our Magnum™ Aluminum Stands. The design criteria are 1) 100% woodfree/waterproof. 2) wife approved designer stylish 3) easy access from all sides, i.e, removable panels. We are pretty close on this.

- More DIY kits. Lots more. We have at least 20 sumps (Triton & Reef & Fresh) in the works. Complete kits or glass conversions.

- Lids. Our Unbreakable meshless lids with feed hatches have been extremely popular. They are about half the cost of some options and we guarantee them for life. Right now, they are sized for Aqueons only with a few Marinelands and other framed tanks. We want to introduce them for more popular rimless glass tanks. Problem is we need ACCURATE dims on these tanks. That's all we need and we can take it from there.

- DIY Frag kits. System 7™, and AIO. These are the most affordable solutions for anyone handy. The both the are good to go but System 7™ need images.

- The Reef Shop. And the Freshwater Shop. Stuff we make from scrap and drops. You will see LOTS of frag racks, LOTS of them. Inexpensive. This also is a crowd pleaser. >>>> https://www.tenecoraquariums.com/products/tenecor%C2%AE-guardian%E2%84%A2-acclimation-box-12x10x8
Snap Lock assembly. Less expensive hobbyist series also available.

- Intank accessories. HOB Refugiums. Bioreactors. Dosing containers. (The one out there are PRICEY!!)

- Lower cost tanks. You will notice our tank prices are significantly lower than other acrylic and even glass tanks. It's because of our commitment to automation. Here is an example >>>> https://www.tenecoraquariums.com/products/tenecor®-freshwater-acrylic-aquarium-96x30x24-300-gallon

- ATO Reservoirs. These have been an unexpected hit. Soon we will have versions with pull out drawers.

- HushFlow™ PowerSumps. Our traditional AIO aquarium for over 40 years has been the Simplicity™ Wet/Dry AIO. Because of the feedback from this forum, we developed the HushFlow™ PowerSump AIO. Extra large chambers. Media Cups. Extensively customizable. More enhancements will be coming to this design.

@brodgers , to answer your original question, the baffles are five inches wide. You can customize the chambers as you like. The only chamber with set dimensions is the inlet chamber where the media ring is installed. That one must be 5 x 5.

Another R2R member @rueric inquired about a refugium sump kit for a 20L. This item did not exist this morning. Our design team wanted to show how fast we can go to market. From concept to ready to order, a little over three hours. >>>> https://www.tenecoraquariums.com/pr...ss™-diy-refugium-reef-sump-kit-20-gallon-long

@rueric, here is your sump kit. it would normally ship same/next production day, but since this is the first one of the line, we would like to double check everything. If you ordered today, it will ship tomorrow or Friday. There should not be any issues with the fit. If there is, we will fix it. Please post your experiences. All the best.

Any non-AIO frag tanks in the works? I love your AIO frag tank sizes, but want a traditional overflow.

Yes, the System 7™ DIY are one option. >>>> https://www.tenecoraquariums.com/collections/diy-system-7™-frag-tank-kits

Pre-built also are available but the images are not up to date. They are coming. As I mentioned previously, we are making a big commitment to DIY. Not just the small things like drop in kits and such, but big tanks like this one >>>> https://www.tenecoraquariums.com/products/tenecor®-acrylic-aquarium-diy-kit-96x24x36-360-gallon

Tanks this size are a different breed. For one thing, they are obviously big. And they get heavier with every additional piece. Not nearly as heavy as glass, but still heavy. It does not matte to us if we build it or you build it. Our quality will probably be better but there are some examples of pretty good home builds. It's all about the surfaces and this is where our kits give the DIY an advantage. Our kit edges are flat, square and true to within millimeters. No saw cuts. Back to your frags. Below is an images of typical non-aio frags.

Not interested in assembling it myself. I would want something deeper than 8" as well. 48x24x16 or 48x30x16 with a center overflow. What depth are the pre-made frag tanks with overflows in the pictures?
