On the xda developers forum they have the ability to "thank" a post if it is found to be useful by some one. It kind of gives an ability to see if someone knows what they're talking about and it also eliminates "+1" posts. In fact they don't even allow "+1" because it clutters a thread. I'm pretty sure they use the same software because as u can see in my shots it works with tapatalk.
In this shot you can see the thanks on the post.
In this one you can see how many times I've been thanked on how many posts.
I think this should be a nice feature up have for both reference and uncluttering threads.
