Lol my friends tell me the same. Some say they wanna run a wire across the street for power lol.

I am planning on buying an electric car like a tesla sometime in the future and that is the part of the reason why I went for a much bigger system that what is needed for the house. And during winter my wife also likes to crank the central heating right up and our bills were always sky high during winter. Hopefully, this would significantly reduce or eliminate any power bills. Worst case I might have to add a power wall to save some of the energy that is exported out but only time will tell.

Just tell the city you put in a hot tub...

It's either the hot tub or the electric upstairs heaters that put me over 1,000 KWh. My wife works from home now, so the upstairs office gets more use.
