That Random Nano!

Here’s two of the three :)
The third decided to go for a stroll whilst these two hung back (These two have been exploring, it seems they all regroup every so often in this cave). If you can’t tell, I’m in love with this trio already and am extremely excited to watch them grow and mature.
Better photos will come throughout the day - currently it’s heavy blues.

Since I've got you both here, what's your opinions on seagrass wrasse (Novaculoides macrolepidotus) and compatibility with my big ole dusky? When we move and the big tank gets set back up the only wrasse coming with that I currently have is the dusky & that green is very attractive to me lol
Compatibility-wise they'll be fine with your Dusky, but I agree with @i cant think they get destructive and will flip rocks and corals and dig in the sand searching for food. They'll aggravate you trying to keep one in a reef tank.

Well, I tried to get a photo of all three pink streaks together but they decided to all swim off one after the other. They appear to stay in close proximity to eachother for most of the day, every so often you find a pair together and one on the other side of the tank.

Well, I couldn’t resist and since I’ve always wanted a Serpent or Brittle Star I figured to go for it. I have never seen any patterning quite like this. P.S. He lost the leg at the LFS.

I’ve never seen one patterned like that. Very cool looking!

I know right! I’ve only ever seen them come in either one bold colour or very limited stripes.

Some photos from tonight :)

I don’t know what’s scarier… Looking into the tank to see 3 pairs of juvenile eyes staring at you or this…

Lights out currently, this photo isn’t great however I’m tackling Montipora Eating Nudibranchs. I have no idea how many there are (I believe 2-3) anyone know what the eggs look like?

Pull the frag and cut it off the plug then dip it. Monti eating nudis are tough to eradicate.

Hopefully the pink streaks are helping out in some way during the day (I’ve seen Atleast one picking around this specific frag). As for pulling it off the frag plug, that may be a tough move as the drag has encrusted.

Cut the top portion off and discard the encrusted part and plug. You'll have a better chance of saving the monti if you sacrifice the rest.

Well, to distract myself I figured to sit outside for a bit and all of a sudden lighting decided to strike. Enjoy a few photos I got of it :)

Great photos!! It's been raining in my town too, but we haven't had the light show you've gotten.

I’m tempted on doing that. I’d rather keep the majority of the monti due to the bright coloured skin. Hopefully I don’t need to do that and it can come off the frag plug quite easily.

I know right, it’s still going too - I don’t think I’ve seen quite a storm in some time (Atleast 3 years).

Eradicating Monti Eating Nudis.
Plan A:
- Dip the Montis for 10 minutes
- Get the Digi off the frag plug & scrape off eggs
- Keep an eye on the frags in the tank

Plan B:
- Use the Halichoeres as a method of defence
- Dip again
- Reintroduce into the 3’

So far I’m on Plan A (Will be keeping an eye out for the next 2-3 days and if I see any nudis then Plan B will be in place).

Well, I tried to get the Digi off the drag plug and that wasn’t happening, I then tried to get just the top off and that also failed.

I’ve managed to get Atleast one nudi out (Another I accidentally hit with the glass scraper last night thinking it was a sand cluster).

And I’m sure some of you may be wondering what I feed both my tanks. Well, I feed;
1 Cube of Frozen Bloodworms
1 Cube of Frozen Mysis
1 Cube of Frozen Brine
1 Cube of Frozen Krill
1 Cube of Frozen Mix
2 pinches of a mix of pretty much every pellet and flake I can find

And surprisingly, the Pink Streaks love munching on the Pellets/Flake as well as the Mysis (And I assume Brine).
