The Angel Lovers Thread

Bicolor angelfish may refuse to taste some foods in the beginning but most of the time there is not much problem feeding them, only when they get to a new tank and lose their shyness, in fact most dwarf angelfish become hardy once they acclimate and get used to the foods offered, even the hardest to keep, though they get a long way to go before they get there.
Well keep your fingers crossed, i have one coming tomorrow. Fiji collection.

should be 2.5-3"

they are gorgeous, I'm telling myself its the mini version of the queen- which i cannot house-
i mean they have a crown!
Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone once had it in the Holacanthus genus as it is genuinely the smaller rock beauty or queen.

I never truly appreciated this species until I got one of my own.

You only realise their true beauty in an established reef system!

FOWLR tanks have them looking nice but when coral is surrounding them it just shows their true colours.

Looking at them top down however, that’s a whole new beauty! All 3 of my angels just radiate blue when looking from above.

My majestic didn’t play as well though and so I got stuck with a side on photo. It’s better than having nothing (The coral beauty just didn’t want to cooperate at all).

And a couple angels that were at a sea life centre I went to (although this specific place is clearly more into conservation than money, their tangs showed this the best along with the S&S puffer that was 3’ long at the minimum).

Came in fat an happy. Feisty in the bag and acclimation.
Haven’t seen her eat but she’s all over the tank!

I also have a CB blueline from biota in the tank just shy of 2”
