me neither, just the others looked "different" too.. like kinda too red? maybe just me..

You're absolutely right. The PZ Bowser is much different from the bowsers that the thread was talking about, which is EXACTLY why I bought one. It's like a poinsettia and a CAR had a beutiful baby. That's why there's a lot of the metallic red. I'd have to say Windy City Reef's picture was what sold me though, as it def didn't look like a CAR (which I'm sure is what most people are wanting when they buy a Bowser, which is that people won't call it a CAR).
