Serious topic here. Need some advice.
A week ago my nem left his rock and went into a cave and appeared at the other end at the back of the tank next to the internal overflow box. He stayed there for a day or so then disappeared again. No sign of him of 3-4 days and I’m getting worried he’s dying somewhere and is going to nuke the tank. I used an endoscope to look everywhere, but no sign. This morning I had a thought. There are very small slits at the bottom of there overflow. Around 1/8“ Wide. Could he be in the overflow?
Yep, he squeezed through

. He is in a 1/2” wide space, 22” deep. He looks alive, but for how long? How do I get him out before he dies? I found long aquarium tongs on Amazon but they won’t arrive for a week. Even then, he’s probably attached to the glass or acrylic and won’t come out easily.
