Dad still stable. Moved to a rehab center to try and build his strength so they can start chemo. Covid making it tough, because we can’t see him or help mom. Nobody can see anybody
Sister still here. We’re thinking about making a road trip to south Florida.. get the nurses to get him to the window and hold up silly signs..remind him how much we love him

... I'm building, but not documenting anymore..

I'm so frustrated with so many things, but I had a three day weekend in which to rearrange everything aquatic, only to figure out I need four more three day weekends to do everything I need to...

I don't know whether I want to do hydroponics trays or 50 low's for the grow out, but the halides arrived for that.

I got a pair of MH pendants for 70 shipped. It was that or build up $300 worth of LEDs again... Although the ones I built are ridiculous... 1080 par at the surface, 400 at half tank.

Yes, and if you look at the thread you will notice that it started in January of 2016. I finally did get water and rock in it, but still not finished the build. I have taken some time off along the way. LOL!

No, nothing new in the Reef Savvy. Pirate's Reef is growing out. I will have to find a new name for the aiptasia tank. They are disappearing quickly as the berghia are wiping them out.

I did try a new drink yesterday but didn't put it on here. So, since you asked...

Shark Bite!
1/2 oz Lime Juice
1/2 oz Pineapple Juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
1 Tbs Juice from Luxardo Cherries (gourmet cherries - the original Maraschino)
1 oz Gold rum - Appleton used here
1 oz dark rum - Myers’ used here
A little grenadine drizzled on top of crushed ice for blood!
