got a new toy and Damian got new wheels for his bday. The elusive factory bbs Volvo mesh wheels. Had them powder coated for him also.

1995 940 turbo. 70 trim on 26lbs. Made 472 to the rear wheels.

Ignore mess and unfinished look. this was from when I was fitting the turbo and mocking up the down pipe.

And Damian’s car. Your son should love it. His car made 391 to all 4 wheels.

The wagon, yes. The red one no. It has a custom ground cam and a full 3” exhaust with only a high flow cat. Makes lots of whistling noise lol.

Not looking good at the moment. We are out of harm’s way though. It should make landfall around midnight tonight. It’s going to mess a lot of stuff up.

We were lucky with Rita in 2005. Only lost the privacy fence. But just across the field from my house, our local hangout bar was destroyed by a tornado. The northeast quadrant of hurricanes is where most of the violent weather is. There were too many tornadoes spawned in Rita to count. Lake Charles is in the northeast quadrant for this storm. Hoping it won’t intensify more today.

So yesterday day was tough. Mark my good friend and best man in our wedding texted to say his nephew Tom died flying helicopter on fire fighting contract near Hood River, OR. Tom left three kids and his wife and an extended family that loved him dearly. His parents are torn up no doubt. My prayers are for his family and friends.
