@Fin There probably going to be a lot of people like yourself trying get back to town when people are allowed back in. Lots of traffic. You may want to see if you could get a hotel room closer in. Just a thought. Glad you and the wife are safe.
Thanks, I am considering this - if I can find one. I have my 85 year old mother with us who isn’t in great health. She lives in her own home. So I have two places to clean up and fix. I would prefer to have her in a place with power so she can stay comfortable. The heat will be awful on her. My wife will try to help but she is partially disabled and has had 6 orthopedic surgeries in the last four years. She is limited in what she can do. I knew I should have had kids. :-)

First hole is perfect. My arm is dead. I did it alone. Took like 30-40 minutes

Looks good, but shouldn't take that long to cut one hole...allow the weight of the drill to do the work for you...don't hold the weight off the surface and it will cut faster...should take 5 minutes, give or take a little, per hole. A template will definitely be helpful, another trick is to clamp a piece of plywood to the opposite side of the glass that you're cutting, will help prevent chipping as your cutter exits.

Yeah. I was going slowwwww because I was scared. Will use that plywood trick tomorrow!

Oh and one of the plants blew up today and whoever is left in town that is within a mile is to shelter in place because of a chlorine gas leak. I may have said that already. :-)

I didn't know your total situation. Your mom and wife's health is more important then trying to get back home.

Always sleeping during the action scenes and you wonder why you're all alone in the middle of the night ;Hilarious :p
lately lucky to sleep hour and half soild weeks now:rolleyes:i'm never alone i live in a zoo, and 3 20 yr old kids n n n ;);Facepalm

Thats how I deal with bugs a desolation approach

I've been with buffs on alert duty. B61's I've loaded. Most of my time in active duty was with fighters though. Still have to respect the lass (B-52) as she is a work horse in the air force. B-1 still has the faster high interest target package which is nice but when things get serious and you want to send a message, send in the little gal - she makes a statement.

Glad I'm not a pest in your neighborhood :)
