Which tang?

Well the damsel is now out of the display. He is in the sump. Didn’t eat him, although when he jumped over the egg crate to the other side of the tank it made me me very mad. The marine major mouth came out real quick, but so did the combat side lol. Strategized that he would jump if cornered again.

Got him cornered, he jumped, then got smacked across the room mid jump.

WIN!!!!

Still had to take out most of the rock. Tangs loved it, as they got algae they couldn’t reach. Wrasses loved all the worms and mini brittle stars that came out. Everyone is happy and I rearranged the layout a bit to separate species somewhat.

Wife then proceeded to curse me worse than I have been cursed in a while. “Poor fish” blah blah blah. When I showed her the purple stag of hers chewed up, the time changed and she still questioned it actually eating the acros.

Simple proof was a green slimer frag placed in the sump. Within 5 minutes it started to go to town on it. She now hates the fish more than me.

End of day, it is a life, so it lives. Sump fish forever or will be put in the macro grow out tub for amphipod control.

Will get a pic when everything quits being mad.
Ohh. I also found a purple bubble tip nem split from the nem I got rid of a while ago lol. And an utter chaos frag that fell and is now a colony.

And the tank. Stuff is still annoyed, but starting to open back up quickly. Glad I decided to make the 7’ frag match this tank perfectly.

The hole to the middle right of the pic should be acros, but that equates to what it ate since it started eating them. Luckily I have frags of all of them, so plan to acclimate from the small frag tank to this tank tomorrow.

I just so happen to have a brand new SCA 301 that has never been used still in the box if you want it it's yours for just the cost of shipping.
I have Monday off and can swing by the shipping store to see what it will cost to get it down to you.
I also have a Bubble Magus Curve 5 that I'd be willing to part with after my 120 is setup and running.
The BM Curve 5 has been amazing since I got it!!

Thank you for the offer. I’ll buy the curve 5 if it will work for an 80g tank with about a 35g sump!

can you section off portion of 180 w egg crate that damsel is in??and just remove what you have too ,not to tear apart whole tank?
What damsel? I know you have way more experience than I do, but... Andrew's Damsel is more like a Tang, prefers caves to hide in. Maybe a rescape would solve any issues.
