The New Duracell Battery Backup at CES

No worries at all. I'm just going off what I paid for my flashlight batteries (Olight (protected) 3.6v 3600mah which are really rebranded Sanyo or Samsung I believe). I never bothered shopping around for better deals on them which I'm sure exsist. And that's $24 Canadian, everything's so much more money here lol. Your $3-8 cells would cost me $5-12 each
OK I got ya =) thanks for the reply..

That's neat. But yeah...lead acid!? That thing's probably over 100 pounds. You could probably do this yourself with a car battery and a simple power inverter for half that price.
I did exactly that when we informed of a 12 hour power outage during January a few years back.

The heater behaved a little odd but I think that was sue to pulse/modulation of the current. Worked though and kept tank warm with pumps running.
