I would go with 72"x36"24. Peninsula style. I already have the perfect place for it.
6 feet long for plenty of room for fish to be friendly to each other.
3 feet wide for a plethora of Aquascaping possibilities.
2 feet deep, so it's easy to work with and you don't have to get 400w bulbs and go broke from your electric bill.
Tank is large enough to stock just about any fish, but not so large that normal Maintenance like water changes become absurd tasks.
Simple 100 gal Sump 5' long with Fug with heavy focus on Micro algae and Copod growth.
Returns plumbed over top of the tank to far end pointed back towards the overflow.
Skimmer: Bubble King Deluxe 200 Internal <---tis the best
Flow: 4 Vortech MP40s on Overflow wall programmed together for some sweet random flow action.
Lighting: What works for best for Radium 20k single end MH bulbs/ I like the blue
Would try to avoid a chiller by using computer fans in canopy, and with this size tank would need to setup a Calcium Reactor because dosing would be horrible..
I would set up SPS heavy towards the overflow wall close the MP40s, and most of the flow. Then work down to LPS & softies as the flow calms down.
I would then spend most of my life staring with my mouth open and drooling in bliss.. :dribble:
