The price we pay

We were never "big spenders" but I bought my husband a coral as a gift years ago and the tank was just not stable enough at the time and it died within a week. Waste of $70. I purchased it online and that was mistake #1. They never look like the pictures. I personally prefer to see corals in person now.

Thank you.

My most expensive fish Ive bought is an emporer angel for $140 and worth every penny. The key is finding a source for healthy fish.

Everything that I have purchased that was over 200.00, I no longer have. So yes, I guess I regret it :)
That is harsh. I'm trying not to spend much until I get the hang of things. Or maybe never. I see a lot of tanks that are filled with lots of easy corals that are big and beautiful. Maybe, I'll stick to that. No stress.

Blue face angel about 20 years ago that I paid approx $140. Dont know that I've spent more than half that much since.

$130 for a 6" purple tang has been my most expensive livestock purchase. I've spent A LOT more on equipment by a huge margin than all of my fish and corals combined

Probably $140 for a Japanese Crescent Tail Fairy Wrasse. Stunning fish. Had the fish for 3–4 years when it suddenly started not eating and perished.
