The price we pay

Paid $120 for a torch. Not super rare but it was pretty big with a few heads. It came in, never really opened up and was dead within 2 days. Paid $40 shipping for a new one which did the same thing. So $160 for nothing. At that point I wasn't paying another $40 for a 3rd replacement and I didn't feel like arguing with the seller about it. Tossed it up as a lesson learned and only buy local from now on.

bought multiple frags of "Named" Acros in the 5 to 600 dollar range and totally regreted it.. Chalk it up to lesson learned. Sad to see the hobby getting corrupted by greed and money.. These days i stick to cheap frags and decently priced fish. Most corals dont seem like much when they're frags, but once grown out in to full colonies. They're beautiful..

Probably $140 for a Japanese Crescent Tail Fairy Wrasse. Stunning fish. Had the fish for 3–4 years when it suddenly started not eating and perished.
Sad when you really like a fish in your tank and then it's gone.

Paid approx 500 each for these beauties......7 inch Goldflake angel and 4 inch Gem tang. They’re both in 625g FOWLR display Tank....
