I have that dark coraline too! I don't totally love it either. I like the lighter pink stuff better.

Here's a somewhat dated pic of my tank. Too embarrassed to post pics of it right now, cause it's full of frag racks and plugs on the bottom since I made some frags and went on a coral shopping spree.

Please clean the back glass!!!!! Very nice aquascaping by the way.

I started out with coralvue 20K MH bulbs and lumenbright reflectors and dose KALK.
My buddy bought the same bulbs and started getting the same algae>??
Coincidence, maybe.

highly likely...I mean, you could prove it likes a specific wave length of light....same bulb, same wave lengths

nice set up..
yes clean the back glass,
and your gonna run into the same problem I had, all your SPS frags are gonna grow out and start compeating for room.

very nice.
I would loose the leather and up your LPS.
But that is a personal preference I guess
You look to need more surface agitation (I like mine screaming)
And the powerheads could by hidden better or get smaller ones.
Again beautiful tank but you post on this thread your up on the chopping block.

Great suggestions. I wouldnt have posted if I didnt want some feedback! I actually cut out half of the leather yesterday lol. And your right the tunzes are pretty ugly

Eeeewwww!!! A leather smack dab in the middle of that gorgeous tank?! What were you thinking?! lol. Actually for a leather, that one's not that bad.
Love to see that tank in person!

Yeah lol I think now I should have gone w/ vortechs. Oh well. The leather is actually a palau nepthea so it is really nice I think. It adds some nice movement, but it has exploded in growth so I had to chop it back.

I agree that leathers really need to be seen in person and not in still pics.
The movement makes the coral..
that red gonipora is SIK!!!!!

Even though I ran my wires behind my overflows, I thought about putting a black back on my tank. Mine just never seems quite as clean.
