The Wrasse Lover's Thread!

Anyone know wrasse spines/skeletons?

It could be the kaleidos but the tail appears wrong for the Pseudojuloides genus (I hope at least…).

But!
We say goodbye to him on Saturday.

Just to add some hope onto that spine, I checked the camera and haven’t spotted any of the pencils out - I know the edwardi is definitely alive but the other 2 I have no confirmation on.
I also have a meleagris leopard in the sand still so maybe there is hope on the pencils…

I found the head to the wrasse and the remaining scales appeared to be black but spread around - although the skeleton was very deformed. However black scales give hope on the kaleidos!!

And for some less upsetting updates on my wrasse gang, look how big this guy is getting!

He’s almost doubled in size since I got him and his colours are truly stunning.

Well I’ve added my last wrasse for now - 3 in total. He’s been in tank for a month, just too zippy to get photo. Ignore my lovely GHA garden!

I know Blue-sides aren’t exactly sexy or exciting to most; but I love his murky, dark, vampire colors, and he compliments the Mel and Rosy-scale beautifully.

So happy Wrasse Wednesday!

Well, if I order the comedic actor Mike Myers, I'm gonna be pretty upset if the serial killer from the Halloween movies, Micheal Myers, shows up at my door
Some might say Mike Myers' comedy is quite killer--at least the old stuff

That's a beautiful fish!

Spot the fish ;)

It’s sad to let him go but I know it’ll be better for both him and my other fish I have and would like (such as possibly more Pseudojuloides and maybe another Anampses).

It’s a shame to see him go as he was one of my most gorgeous fish and is my oldest currently at 5 years.

You mean he loves clams.

Is your trident accurate with that long feed line run?
Surprisingly it is, not sure how but I’m not complaining!

He was still fairly grouchy but at least swam a fair amount.

I can’t wait to see how big he gets now he’s in an 8’ tank!

Someone talk me out of it… a Roseafascia.

Also still thinking of ideas to “replace” the Chloroptasaurus.
