Well it's going to be a project. But total water volume should be enough for a couple of wrasses. Maybe 3 if I get a good skimmer. 150 came with a 55 they turned into a sump

That's a 72" by 18" tank, right? You should have room for a few sand sleepers plus some flashers and fairies. I had 3 sand sleepers in my 125 with the same footprint. Currently I have 3 in my 70 with half the footprint.

Opinions welcome, have to decide if I want credit or replacement for a Cherub from Dr Reef that didn’t make it. I have 3 peaceful fish and still need to bring over a pink streaked wrasse from the another tank.
Display is 3’ going for mix reef. I been thinking of getting credit and potentially one of these wrasses. What you guys think, I know size of tank is on the small side for some of these.

Main thing is to keep it peaceful. They all get along very well so want to keep it that way.

60x24. Still up in the air about sand. But I'm realizing half my reason I'm considering bare bottom is that with more than 25 years of tanks I've never had one

First three look fine to me. I would favor the leopard. I opted out of an iridis for my 3' tank, just worried it was a bit too borderline. Try to get a small female leopard.

Well, this IS Dr. Reef... I'd say a chrysus or lubbocki have the best chance of arriving alive. Talk directly to Mike about putting sand in the bag of the leopard or chrysus. Much better chance of it arriving alive.

Transfered the cherub and leucoxanthus to the DT. The carpenter’s jumped the bucket when I turned my back. Spent 45 minutes looking. No luck.

China Wrasse, Twinspot and Marble? The local fish store has a China and it’s beautiful. I really took a liking to them when I saw the ones @OrionN has.

I’m setting up with a 2 inch sandbed. Should I up that to 3 inches?

China is good. Marble is maybe as they may get very aggressive. Twin spot is a definite no. They are like 4’ fish when adult

Twinspot is a monster. it gets to 2 feet long. Goes from this cute guy:

Marbled seems a more manageable 11" max length, but I don't know anything about it's aggression levels.

Sorry, according to fishbase, it can get to 120cm, which is 4 feet. Looks like liveaquaria is downplaying its size as an adult.

They need to stop selling these wrasses. I understand that they are easy catches since juveniles are found in shallow tidepools and are cute as hades, but once they grow up they have to get rehomed, and there aren't enough monster build tanks out there or public aquariums able to take them all in. I've seen them at LFSs with disturbing frequency. Great if you have a system that can support them, but how many people do?

If you want a Coris I suggest Coris gaimard, or C atlantica.
