How do you all keep them from jumping out? I have a lot of equipment in the back of my tank... HOB refugium and HOB protein skimmer and canister filter . I'm thinking maybe of using a netting or something across the top of the back. Anyone have any great ideas that have worked?

Netting, I made mine from stuff at Lowes. Btw jumping is a big concern. Saw mine hit my net earlier for no reason, only fish in area as others were on the opposite side of tank.

It's tough when you have any HOB equipment. It's do-able, but you MUST ensure there are zero holes/gaps.

Even when you do have everything plugged or covered, they can still make the leap to freedom when working in the tank. I lost yet another (my 3rd) McCoskers last night while doing a WC and repositioning some corals. I didn't notice that it was missing until about 15 minutes after having finished my work. It took about another 15 minutes to find the body. I normally do a quick check after having the covers off, but I got distracted last night and paid the price. Again!

This was after I figured out how to fix mine last night. Mine was a lot cheaper....

I found this plastic canvas at Hobby Lobby and fixed 3 tanks with 2 sheets. I cut out a space for each of my things on the back and left a part of it to tuck under the item to weigh it down and hold it on. It's plastic, so no worries about salt and the light goes through it. Also, they are $2.19/sheet and stiff. I'm going to make the photos small, so they won't take up a lot of data:

I'd have guessed that was a Yellowfin, but it's a gorgeous wrasse, whichever!

You'd have guessed right; that's Paracheilinus flavianalis (not mccoskeri).

Anyone have success keeping a rhomboid super male wrasse in captivity longterm?

I looked it up you I think are right that's what Blue zoo aquatics had it listed as when they shipped it to me lol.

I have a question about sand for a Melanuras. I currently have the sand pictured below. Is that a fine enough grade for burrowing! I can buy something different and add it to my tank, if you think I need to. Thanks!
