The Wrasse Lover's Thread!

Any info on temperament on the Tono's fairy wrasse? I have a small pintail, leopard, and decent size pink margin.
As a cousin of filamentosus, they are better, but not by a whole lot.

Thanks for the swift replies @evolved / @eatbreakfast. That's exactly what I wanted to know. I'll pass on that guy.
I can tell you first hand by having these specimens, that they are not even close to aggressive as some other species I've dealt with.
Rhomboids, flames wrasse, lineatus, katoi, Scott's, I could name a few more that have shown much more aggression.

It depends on where they are in the hierarchy.

Having had them in a few displays, tonos rnded up being quite a bit more aggressive than rhomboids, lineatus, and flames. About the same aggression as katoi, and less aggressive than scott.

What do you guys feed your wrasse ? I have spectrum pellets autofed 3x a day, nori 5x a week (they love red) and daily frozen via either Lrs frenzy and or PE mysis. I was thinking of trying selcon to help coloration as some of my wrasse look dull and not as vibrant as I would like.

I have spectrum pellets on an auto feeder 2x's, and rotatate tobiko, hikari mysis, piscine mysis, san Francisco reef plankton, LRS fertility, hikari krill cubes, and a homemade frozen mixture of fresh caught herring, clams, and oysters. All of the food except the pellets gets soaked in omega 3 fatty acids.

+1 to the LRS fertility, my wrasses love this food, it even got 1 that wasn't doing so hot to rebound as he couldn't resist it.

I get a frozen seafood mix at the grocery store and chop some of it and blender the rest, add Nori cut into small pieces and some reef food similar to LRS (the name is escaping me right now) mix with RO water and freeze in silicone ice cube trays and thaw as needed. I add a few drops of selcon and some phyto-feast to it before feeding.

I feed that once a day and new life pellets 2X a day

Just added my Brunneus pair and my supermale pink margin to my plethora of wrasse dominant tank.
So far so good. Male Brunneus is hiding a bit, but no aggression from the others.

List includes

Earls
Lineatus
5 rhomboids (2 males, 3 females)
Flame pair
Pintail pair
Lunatus juv
Pink margins (male and new supermale)
Katoi
Bathyphilus juv
Balteatus
Female purple velvet
Rosefascia
Exquisite
Rosy scales
Blue sided
Mccoskers
Filamentus
Yellow coris
China pearl
I believe that concludes the wrasse collection 28 or so

Impressive collection! I'd love to see a picture of your rosefascia. This is one I've never owned and is next on my list.

Anyone else see their pencil wrasses nipping eachother?
Most of the times I have kept multiple pencil wrasses together they left each other alone. However, every once in awhile there is a more aggressive one that nips and chases.
